🔮 “Haven’t you learned about macroeconomics in business school?” said one of the London Business School representatives who was leveraging his connections to PE firms to get the students internships in these firms. This was him playing hard core investment banker Gordon Gecko style when I was talking to him passionately (and innocently should I add) about my spiritual impact investment fund project that was meant to be that amazing cool market disruptor that would pioneer its way as a financial instrument mixing spirituality and finance.
🔮 Whilst this man was trying to tell me was that it was quasi indecent to talk about prosperity and abundance and was so focused on showing me that scarcity perception of the world as per the law of you need to take from somewhere to give it somewhere else as in you need to have a loser to have a winner, I recall telling him not to believe everything he was told and not be a sheep and that of course 1 +1 = 3 as per the principle of 2 forces combined together create a third force.
🔮 Whilst my boldness and assertiveness left him quite perplex and even pondering over some of his childhood trauma (I have that effect on people I am telling you), I left this meeting feeling somewhat bruised in my self esteem already in need for improvement at the time. I somehow hadn’t realised that getting the approval of the establishment and the conventional fund raising methodology was in total misalignment with my beliefs and what I had the vision to pioneer.
✨ If you are meant to lead, you can’t fit in. ✨
🔮 No wonder why I collected experiences in various global financial institutions, 17 to be exact ranging from top tier to middle sized. Talk about a misfit lol
🔮 My unhealed sense of self worth was making me see this journey with a big sense of inadequacy.
🔮 Why can others fit so well when it feels so soul sucking to me?
🔮 Well what I was dismissing was that deep sense of repulsion when it comes to conform to something I didn’t believe in.
✨ Because of these painful experiences and deep feeling, I put that part of me on the shelves
💫UNTIL 💫
💖 Until I healed and reconciled the various parts of myself and was no longer afraid of being me and all aspects of me.
💖 And decided that what matters in whatever I do is the sense of FUN and JOY.
💖 And my vibes will attract my tribe.
💖 The need to conform and fit in is tightly correlated with the need for acceptance and validation.
💖 So when you do the deep healing work and get your sense of worth and validation from self, then there is no more struggle to just be
✨ And somehow you create your own world and you become an inspiration as a side effect of doing what excited you and bring you joy.
✨ So remember this: next time you feel like a weirdo and a misfit through your ideas, lifestyle, way to do business. Well guess what?
💖 WELL YOU ARE ON YOUR PATH TO BE A LEADER AND YOU NOW YOU KNOW AND CAN EMBRACE IT 💖
